Samuel H. Wiest
Sam is a firm partner whose practice focuses on real estate and business transactions. He also assists clients in creating and managing homeowners’ associations and condominiums, foreclosures, tax sales, and drafting contracts, loan documents, and leases.
Sam earned his law degree from the Penn State Dickinson School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University. Upon graduation from law school, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert C. Nalley of the Circuit Court for Charles County, after which he joined the DML family.
Sam participates in several professional and non-professional activities, such as being the current President of the St. Mary’s County Bar Association and a graduate of Leadership Southern Maryland, leading his church’s youth program, and serving as a Den Leader in his children’s Cub Scout Pack.
Married with three children, he is happy to call St. Mary’s County his home.
